Philippe Durr took on the position of Chief Executive Officer in September 2008, bringing over 20 years of experience in executive management and consulting at international level.
Philippe Durr started his career in Japan with Toshiba, working on the development of image processing for medical scanners.
Back in Europe he worked as Business Consultant for Andersen Consulting (Accenture), specializing in business and information strategy, process engineering and change management. He then took on the company's commercial activities at the regional level, before joining Landis & Gyr Communications in 1996.
Initially Product Manager at Landis, Philippe then took on the position of International Marketing Director for the Payphone Segment, the company's core business.
Four years later, attracted by the challenges of the liberalization of the energy market, Philippe joined the Services Industriels de Genève (SIG) as Vice-President for Sales and Marketing. Among others, he led the development and commercialization of innovative ways of selling electricity, an approach much valued by European key business players.
Philippe gained an MSc in Micro-Engineering with a specialization in Medical Robotics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
Philippe Durr holds his Private Pilot's Licence.
